The American Institute of Graphic Arts is an organization for professional graphic artists, including graphic designers, art directors, and illustrators. It operates a gallery and sponsors traveling exhibitions. It also presents an annual award recognizing distinguished achievement in the graphic arts. The institute produces four publications: AIGA Journal of Graphic Design, AIGA Membership Directory, AIGA News, and Graphic Design USA.
